The Skegness Business Awards 2023 celebrated excellence across 12 categories at a glittering ceremony held at the North Shore Hotel on Friday 12th November 2024. After a four-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the event returned, allowing local businesses to shine.
Chamber Chairman Paul McCooey expressed pride in the event’s success. “I think the awards have been a great success. It’s wonderful to see so many up-and-coming businesses, and I’ve heard stories of some looking to collaborate, which is a real upside of events like this. Skegness has done itself proud tonight. To those nominees who didn’t get an award, they have done really well to get this far. We at the Skegness Area Business Chamber are extremely proud to give these businesses an opportunity to shine – it’s been a great success all round.”
Special guest Matt Warman, MP for Boston and Skegness, also praised the event. “It’s a fantastic turnout celebrating the great businesses of Skegness – old and new. Since the pandemic, Skegness has shown incredible resilience despite tough times. Events like tonight highlight those businesses doing great work to attract people and ensure the continued thriving of this part of the coast.”
